Our club has been a fixture in the area for more than 50 years, since we first opened back in 1957. The rich history at Rio Pinar includes hosting the PGA Tour’s Florida Citrus Open from 1966-1978, and the LPGA’s Lady Citrus Open event from 1979 to 1982. In fact, some of golf’s greatest legends have played on our championship layout at Rio Pinar, including PGA Tour stars Arnold Palmer, Julius Boros, Lee Trevino, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Hale Irwin, along with LPGA World Hall of Fame Members Patty Sheehan, Nancy Lopez and Beth Daniel.
Walking in the footsteps of champions at Rio Pinar Golf Club has never been easier. We are open to public play and also have several membership choices to fit your playing needs. Our convenient location, close to downtown Orlando, makes it an easy drive from anywhere.
