Attention Industry Partners–an important notice from NAWCTSD

Notice to our Industry Partners

On 1 October 2010, the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) Orlando will be changing our funding model to a Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) activity.  This change in funding model will necessitate NAWCTSD being issued a new Unit Identification Code (UIC) by the Department of the Navy.  This new UIC will be N61340.  Effective 1 October 2010, the following contracting business practices will go into effect at NAWCTSD: 

•       No “new” contract actions will be awarded under our old UIC N61339. 

•       The UIC N61339 will be available for payment purposes only on existing contracts. 

•       Any contract modification issued on or after 1 October 2010 will use the Issue Office UIC
         N61340 and will include special payment provisions for UICs N61339 and N61340.

•       New Contract Actions will be awarded and funded Under UIC N61340. 

Industry partners that have current contracts with NAWCTSD are encouraged to contact their cognizant Contracting Officer for payment instructions under UICs N61339 and N61340.
