The foundation mission is to provide healing for invisible wounds of war through counseling, emotional and spiritual support for all branches of Military Service members, Veterans and their families. Central Florida has thousands of troops returning home from war and it is estimated that 20 percent of our veterans may suffer from posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI) and/or depression. These invisible wounds of war not only affect the veteran but also their spouse/partner, their children and our community as a whole. Last year, Camaraderie Foundation provided 130 counseling scholarships and served over 1300 Service members and their families. They need your help to continue helping those in need and to grow the Foundation’s reach. The gala event is an avenue for Camaraderie to connect with the community and raise funding for the programs that the Foundation offers. They will be holding a silent auction to raise funds […]
