SUBWAY® to give complimentary 6-inch sub to veterans and active military Nov.11.
Orlando, Fla. (Nov. 6, 2009) – Central Florida SUBWAY® restaurants will thank those who have served our country by giving them a complimentary 6-inch sub on Veterans Day, Wed., Nov. 11. All day, veterans and active military personnel are invited to come to any Central Florida SUBWAY® and show their military I.D. card or proof of service to redeem their sub. The offer will take place during normal business hours.
“We are proud to honor the men and women serving our country. This is the second year we’ve done this and feel it’s the least we can do for their dedication and heroism,” said Pete DiPasqua, president of DiPasqua Enterprises which owns and operates 93 SUBWAY restaurants in Central Florida.
“As a veteran myself, serving proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era, I feel honored to offer this small token of appreciation to my fellow servicemen and women,” said John Pryor, SUBWAY franchisee of eight restaurants throughout Central Florida.
The special event is only valid at participating SUBWAY® restaurant locations in Orange, Seminole, Volusia, Lake, Brevard, Osceola and Marion Counties.
