Central Florida Veterans Memorial Park Foundation, Inc. (CFVMPF) was founded in March 2003 by veterans to include the Honorable Bill Coleman, LTC Earle Denton USA (ret), Col Joe Kittinger, USAF (ret). There are currently 21 members of the board of directors made up primarily of former career military people in all branches of the military, enlisted and officer ranks, in addition to a number of local successful business people and advisors.
The purpose CFVMPF is to establish a Memorial Park to honor those who served in the uniform of our country who made the ultimate sacrifice and never returned… specifically honoring those who left Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Lake, and Seminole counties and never returned. It will also be a reminder to future generations that freedom is not free while at the same time providing a quiet, tranquil place of healing for those returning from deployment.
The foundation is currently engaged in a major fund raising campaign led by Honorary Campaign Chairman LTG, Jay Garner, USA (ret).
