“Col Joe Kittinger, USAF, famous High Altitude Parachutist record holder, renowned F-4 Fighter Pilot with 483.5 combat missions during his 3 combat tours over North Vietnam, ultimately shot down and suffering bodily injuries, was captured and experienced the horrors of being confined in the infamous Hanoi Hilton Hotel as a POW in North Vietnam, takes great pleasure in inviting you and your family to attend a special patriotic ceremony to honor our Vietnam Veterans. This event will take place at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 14, 2014 in the Kittinger Park Executive Airport located at the intersection of Macguire Street and the 408 East-West Expressway. Please note that the Honorable John Mica, U.S. Congressman, will be the Keynote Speaker.”
During this patriotic ceremony a Vietnam era F-4 Fighter Aircraft will be unveiled to honor all veterans that served during the Vietnam War.
