A manufacturer of lithium ion batteries for electric vehicles will charge up its operations in Central Florida, creating tech jobs in the process.
Microvast Inc. plans to turn its small presence in the University of Central Florida incubator program into an Orlando research and development facility that would house up to 150 employees. The Stafford, Texas-based company is searching for a roughly 45,000-square-foot existing lab building to house the facility, Microvast U.S. President Shane Smith told Orlando Business Journal.
