NCS will host a Luncheon Meeting with Industry on Thursday, Sept 16th at Stoneybrook East Golf Club beginning at 11:30 a.m. to kick-off the FY 2012 Appropriations process. A key lesson learned from the FY 2011 process was that we needed to get started earlier in order to broaden the participation of Member Companies and improve the quality of project submissions targeted for FY 2012 Appropriations plus-ups. At the luncheon meeting, Lt Gen (Ret) Baptiste will review all of the lessons learned from last year, pass out background material to help Companies prepare their White Paper proposals and present a timeline for submissions.
A goal for this year will be to review, rank order and identify project submissions that will be taken forward NLT I/ITSEC 2010. This will allow Lt Gen (Ret) Baptiste to discuss next steps with selected companies on the margins of the conference.
Cost for the luncheon will be $25 for those that pre-register prior to Sep 14th. For those that register after 14 Sep or choose to pay at the door the price is $30. Space is limited so pre-registration is recommended.
