On October 23, 2013, Lifeboat released the following news about a partnership with ECS in regards to Human Trafficking prevention.  We are honored to share this news with you.

Orlando, Fla. (October 23, 2013) – Lifeboat Project, a leading organization in the fight against human trafficking, and Engineering & Computer Simulations (ECS), a top advanced learning technology simulation firm, have joined together to create a series of simulations aimed at educating youth on how to prevent becoming a victim.

Human traffickers primarily focus on both girls and boys between the ages of 11 and 19. Florida is among the top three states for human trafficking in the United States.
“Our key to stopping this problem is educating everyone that the dangers are real and can be found nearly everywhere,” says Jill Bolander Cohen, president of the Lifeboat Project. “With leaders like Waymon Armstrong working with us on this project, we are creating a fantastic tool to build that education.”  Armstrong is the President of ECS. His firm developed human trafficking simulations for the U.S. military to utilize in a variety of international locations. ECS will be producing the product for the Lifeboat Project.
