Micro Depot, Inc. (MDI) has been a provider of custom server solutions to the training and simulation industry since 1996 (founded 1988) with customers such as Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, SAIC, Rockwell Collins, Blue Ridge Simulation, Oasis Advanced Engineering, J.F. Taylor and CAE. MDI offers the Astrix Graphics server family for training and simulation applications with top-end graphics and processing in a rackmount form factor (both individual systems and fully integrated racks) and in an innovative portable form factor. MDI Services
• MDI’s operation management system (MOMS) customer support portal allows customers to
track orders, obtain technical product data and create support tickets.
• Network monitoring and system profiling with API access makes detailed system information
continuously available.
• MDI offers both COTS (off-the-shelf) and custom engineered products/solutions to fulfill specific
customer requirements.
Production & Quality Assurance
• All system designs undergo design qualification with thermal, noise and power metrics as well
as overall system stability and component compatibility.
• All systems have passed a 24-hour stress test designed to maximize heat production and
power draw (up to 6A per Astrix graphics system) and 60+ point quality assurance checks
before shipping.
• MDI is ISO 9001:2008 certified, and its Norcross, GA production facility has recently been
upgraded for additional ESD protection and has been equipped with state-of-the-art burn-in
cabinets for greater production capacity and information transparency.

Recent News
• In August 2011, MDI was awarded a $6.5m contract to deliver thousands of Astrix Graphics systems to Lockheed Martin. Lockheed Martin has been a customer of MDI for 12 years, and uses MDI systems for their vehicle and convoy simulators (LAV-25, M1A1, Stryker) for the United States Marine Corps.
