NCS 6th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser Golf Tournament Most Successful Ever!

The National Center for Simulation (NCS) held its 6th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser Golf Tournament on Thursday, May 26th at Stoneybrook East Golf Club. Players arrived at noon for a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. Eighty-two golfers enjoyed the afternoon and friendly competition which was followed by dinner and an awards ceremony. Thanks to generous sponsorship, the event raised over $13,000 for the Vince and Beth Amico and Hank Okraski Scholarship Programs. NCS owes special thanks to the following sponsors: Intelligent Decisions Vince & Beth Amico Aegis Technologies Jorge Martinez, Martinez & Associates, CPAs, P.A. Lockheed Martin Northrop Grumman Craig Technologies Computer Sciences Corporation Hank Okraski All proceeds from the event benefit the Vince & Beth Amico Scholarship to UCF and the Hank Okraski Scholarship to Daytona State College. Scholarships are awarded twice per year to worthy applicants attending the two institutions. “Through these scholarships, NCS hopes to attract students to pursue degrees in Modeling and Simulation in order to help grow the workforce of the future, said Lt Gen (Ret) Thomas L.
