On July 13, 2015, an NCS-led Review Committee was recognized by the Lake County, Florida, School Board for participating in an industry review of the county standards and framework for Gaming, Simulation and Animation. The Lake County School Board Career-Technical, School Choice and Community Education Director, Dr. Maggie Teachout, said “… it is my privilege to work with many talented and accomplished community partners, who willingly give of themselves to prepare our students for the future. You are one of these very special people.”
Members of the Committee are Brent Smith, ECS, Dave Swanson, EA Sports, Dan Ketchen, Cubic Corporation and Hank Okraski, NCS Board Member. Leading the initiative was Dr. Bob Carlisle, Lake County School District.
