It is hockey season again and for the third year in a row it is my honor and privilege to find Veterans and/or Service Members to be recognized at the home games of the Orlando Solar Bears and I need your help. As in years past the criteria has stayed the same, it is as follows: *Honoree and three guests will receive tickets to the assigned game *One free parking pass for the GEICO garage *Someone from the Solar Bear staff greets the Honoree to advise what to do and when *Honoree should wear a uniform, shirt or hat that indicates branch of service and/or conflict in which he or she served *If honoree wears a uniform, once the presentation is over he/she may change into street clothes if desired (bags will be checked entering the arena) *Honoree needs to prepare a short bio of his/her service, awards won, where served, what they are doing now and submit to Vickie(vickieldg@bellsouth.net) *Honoree needs to furnish the names and relationship of the three guests who attend with them along with their cell phone number should the event staff need to contact them at the game Any Honoree needing special assistance should also include that in their submission of information along with the top 3 game date choices should there be duplicate requests for the same date.
