The Orlando VA Medical Center’s Vocational Rehabilitation Program will hold a Veterans Employment Expo Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., at the Orlando VAMC’s Auditorium A & B.
The Orlando VAMC is located at 5201 Raymond Street, near Lake Baldwin and the Central Florida Veterans Memorial Park. Attendees should park on the west side of the clinic and follow posted signs to the auditoriums.
The Expo will feature more than 25 employers in markets including construction and labor, retail, customer service, and hospitality. Interested Veterans should bring a current resume and wear business attire for the event. Employers will conduct onsite interviews, and VA representatives will be on hand to provide resume building assistance.
Prior to the expo the Vocational Rehabilitation Program staff is offering a Federal Bonding workshop at 11:30 a.m. in Auditorium B, for Veterans with past records, credit issues and large employment gaps.
