Orange County, FL– Mayor Richard Crotty and the National Center for Simulation are hosting a forum to promote modeling, simulation and training technology, already flourising in Orange County, for our region’s blossoming healthcare industry. “With the advent of “Medical City” at Lake Nona and the presence in our community of world-class hospitals, it seems only logical to promote the use of MS&T to train our healthcare professionals in a manner that has been so successful for the military,” said Mayor Crotty.
The breakfast event will take place on Friday, July 23, 2010 at Stoneybrook East Golf Club, 2900 Northampton Avenue, Orlando, FL 32828 beginning at 7:30 a.m.
The event is being organized by Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Tom Baptiste, President/Executive Director for the National Center for Simulation. Gen. Baptiste is a former Air Force fighter pilot who can speak eloquently about the evolution of the MS&T industry.
