American Education Week, November 15-21, 2009, is an annual national celebration of public education. The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools, along with sponsors Orlando Sentinel and Bank of America, is proud to invite all Central Floridians to commemorate and celebrate this special week by taking part in Teach-In 2009. Parents, business leaders, and community members can enhance learning by going into a classroom for an hour or for the whole school day. You can read a book, tutor a student, talk about your career, your travels, your hobby, your life experiences, etc.

We are inviting you to join other outstanding personalities in the classroom. Can we count on you to give one hour or more of your time for public education on Tuesday, November 17, 2009? The goal is to have guest teachers in as many classrooms as possible on that day.
