South African tech firm opens local office with plans to create high-wage jobs (by Richard Bilbao)

MFT Executive Advisory Services, a Johannesburg, South Africa-based tech firm, has expanded to Central Florida with plans to create dozens of high-wage jobs here.

MFT, an Amazon Web Services firm providing cloud solutions and technology risk management, opened an office in Maitland at 555 Winderley Place, said a news release from the Orlando Economic Partnership. The firm will create 35 new jobs in the region over the next five years with positions paying more than 135% of the average wage in Orange County, which is $51,501, according to state documents.
