UCF Announces Inaugural Cyber Security Conference, 15 March 2014

The inaugural Cyber Security Conference @ UCF will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the UCF campus.  Speakers will include:  Associate Professor Sheau-Dong Lang from UCF’s Digital Forensics Program in the College of Engineering and Computer Science; Professor and Dean-Emeritus Jon Mills from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law; and Ms. Sandra Osborne from the Digital Forensics Unit in the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.  Additional speakers will include:  Ms. Kristen Pratt, a current UCF student who has been the victim of a cyber-stalking case that reached national headlines.  She will share her story with the audience to convey how difficult it was for her to have her case reviewed and processed by law enforcement.  We will also hear from Ms. Nasa Quba and Ms. Kausar Khiza who are information security consultants and UCF alumni specializing in mobile device security issues.  This event is free and open to the public.
